Why is card collection so important to the MushiKing experience?
It's what makes the game unique. MushiKing is the first game to combine two of the world's most popular hobbies: arcade gaming, and card collection. The real-time graphics make the cards come alive (imagine pictures springing to life on screen!), while the cards enhance the fun and strategy of arcade play.
It increases your chances of winning. The more cards you have, the more strategies you can use.
It links you to the MushiKing fan community. Trade with other players at tournaments or through on-line discussion groups.

How many different cards are there?
There are 36 cards in the series: 18 beetle cards, and 18 skill cards. Six of these cards are considered rare beetle cards and another six of these cards are considered special skill cards.
Which cards should I watch out for?
Rare cards. Printed against a holographic background, these cards showcase beetles with very powerful statistics or grant very powerful skills. Because a smaller number of the cards are produced, they are more difficult to find.
Special cards. MushiKing occasionally releases special edition cards where the designs are printed in reverse. This unique marking increases the cards' value and makes them a serious collector's must-have.
Champion cards. There are two cards that you can only get by joining an official MushiKing tournament: black cards, and gold cards. You receive a black card if you win first place, and receive a gold card after you have collected three black cards.
Why are all cards considered limited edition?
MushiKing cards are released in series. The designs are available for a certain number of months before they are permanently pulled out and replaced by another series. Some serious MushiKing collectors even travel to other countries when the game is initially released just to find the first edition cards.
The Philippines is the third country where MushiKing was released. We currently carry the first edition cards, but in November 16, 2004 these will be replaced by the second set. You only have a short time to complete your collection before another series begins.
Where can I get MushiKing cards?
MushiKing cards are not sold in stores. They are only available through the MushiKing machine, which dispenses a card at the start of each game. The more times you play, the bigger your collection becomes, and the more chances you have of finding a rare card.
Where can I play Mushiking?
Quantum Amusement, Q Powerstation and Club Synergy have the exclusive Mushiking franchise. You can't find the game anywhere else!
